In the final scene, Bill Cosby (Cliff) gets the front doorbell to work properly at last; he and Phylicia Rashād (Clair) share a dance and then break the fourth wall, walking off the set to the thunderous applause of the studio audience. The scene is immediately followed by a 3-minute "thank you" tribute from NBC. |
