The Three Stooges 75th Anniversary was recently celebrated on NBC
Shemp was actually the third stooge
before Curly. He quit and came back to work after Curly's
death.
Curly, Moe, and Shemp were all brothers.
The Stooges were almost through when
movie shorts were killed off in the movie industry until
the Stooges shorts started airing on television a
few months later. The Three Stooges were more popular than
ever and launched their movie career with the last third
stooge Curly Joe- Derita.
