This car's a wreck, but the engine's a honey and Bo and Luke MUST have it. So they make a deal with used car dealer Ace Parker, whose more croooked as a switchback trail who has a scheme that could land the boys behind bars.

  • Note: Jerry Rushing (Ace Parker) was much of the inspiration behind Moonrunners, the movie that lead to The Dukes Of Hazzard, and is said to be much of the inspiration for the character of Bo Duke. Rushing wanted his role of crooked used car dealer Parker to be re-occurring, but this is the only time the character is ever seen in the series.
"High Octane"
5 5 February 23, 1979
Uncle Jesse fires up the moonshine still for a patriotic cause, while Bo's dancin' and romancin' flames are fired by a lovely female revenue agent.

Bo and Luke become drivers of an 18-wheeler, not knowing the games are not on level, not even knowing it's a rolling casino.

After a health quarantine confines the Duke boys and Uncle Jesse to jail, only Daisy is left to pursue bank robbers disguised a Laurel and Hardy.
