Tru Calling Plot
Tru Davies a young woman that works in a morgue in Boston. Tru has the
ability to help the dead if they ask. Sounds strange, but the show
quickly becomes a great sci-fi detective show once the action
begins. When ever someone is murdered or dies before their time, they
sometimes call out for help and only Tru can hear them. Once that
happens Tru is sent back a day where she must figure out who killed the
victim and how to stop the tragedy from happening. Things really get
complicated once Jack Harper temporarily starts working at the morgue.
He too has the power to go back in time, but his job is to stop Tru
from saving lives. Jack thinks that Tru is changing destiny and could
somehow cause greater damage than the loss of the individual's life.
Once Jack is found out, he quits the morgue and teams up with Tru's
father who it turns out used to have Jack's job. Her father warred
against Tru's mother who also had the gift to go back in time. Tru has
help in her quest to save lives. Her brother Harrison Davies and her
boss Davis.
