That Was Then Plot
Travis Glass is about to turn 30. He lives with his mother. He's a door salesman. And the longtime love of his life is married to his brother.
He gets a chance to go back in time to the week in high school during
the 1980's when he was 16 and everything went wrong. The problem occurs when once
he returns to the present things are usually worse than they were
before. On the last aired episode He and his best friend Donnie Pinkus
ended up living in a small poverty stricken trailer that was in the
process of getting towed off while they were in it. The show got the
axe after only a few episodes, but it truly rocked while it was on.
One problem the show came
out exactly at the same time another cool show with a similar premise
was airing on the WB called Do
Over Both shows were great, but only lasted a short time. Of
course today we have nanny 911, super nanny, and whatever else nanny
existing on separate networks for way too long. Two weeks would be too
long for these reality shows.

Trivia Facts
Tyler Labine who played Donnie Pinkus hasn't had a lot of luck on TV
shows despite getting some great TV shows beside That Was Then. Before
this one he co-starred on a WB show called "Dead Last" where
a young rock group runs into ghosts and ghouls on a regular basis. It
was like a live action Scooby Doo. It didn't make it long either.

Recently though, he did a good job playing a doped up John Belushi right
before his death on the Mork and Mindy TV biography movie. He now has a
starring role on the ABC TV series Invasion.
