Trivia Facts
Did you know Granny from the Beverly Hillbillies was in the Mister Ed episode: "Love and the Single Horse"
, and in that same episode the Beverly Hillbillies actor Raymond Bailey
played another character, Mr. Durvis. He of course played Mr. Drysdale
on the Beverly Hillbillies. For some reason Irene Ryan played her
character Granny on the episode, but Bailey did not play his character,
Mr. Drysdale.
The real name of the horse who played Mr. Ed was Bamboo Harvester.
Bamboo Harvester had his own stunt double named Pumpkin. Pumpkin also appeared on the television series
Green Acres.
Alan Young who played Wilbur the man who had to listen to a horse
talk all the time recently became a talking duck. He does the voice for
Scrooge McDuck for Walt Disney.
Clint
Eastwood played himself in the episode "Clint Eastwood meets
Mister Ed"
George
Burns was also on Mister Ed playing himself in the episode
"George Burns Meets Mister Ed".
The man who did Mister Ed's voice was Allan “Rocky” Lane, a
