I thought it wasn't fair for the Daily Planet to get all the exclusives with Superman, and with the 2006 Superman Returns movie just around the corner, I thought I might ask the Man of Steel some important questions.

TVcrazy Man: So Supes, can I call you that?
Superman: No, actually I would rather be called..

TVcrazy Man: So Supes I was wondering what you thought about the new costume changes they've made for the new upcoming Superman Returns?

Superman: Well to be honest...

TVcrazy Man: I know what your going to say the colors are too dark, and it looks like they've got you ready for a bathing suit competition.

Superman: That's not what I was going to say at all! You know you've got to consider the action figure toy lines. The suit has got to stand apart from the other Superman merchandise you know, and what do you mean bathing suit competition.

Well actually I would rather you...

No offense Kal-El, it's just that well... I mean everybody got used to you wearing your underwear on the outside, but you know now this new costume looks a little revealing don't you think for crime fighting.

It's not my real costume it's for the action figures. That's why their changing it for the movie to go along with the action figure toy line.
Of course Superman selling those awesome dolls is important!

Ok, Ok, no need to get your eyes all red. Let's go on to another subject shall we. How about that cool show Smallville? Tom Welling and Kristen Kreuk rock don't they?
Yes, it is a super show! Personally, John Schneider who plays my father on Smallville is one of my favorite actors. I own all the Dukes of Hazzard DVD collections. I love to kick back at the Fortress of Solitude and watch Roscoe P. Coltrane crash his squad car every episode.

With all those fan sites dedicated to you out there, do you have any favorite websites?

I'm partial to Supermanfanart.com . It's got a lot of great fan art of yours truly. The fans are great!

Superman a lot of fans debated and debated some more over who should have played you in the next Superman movie. Did you have any favorite choices before Brandon Routh got the part?

Actually, I always wanted Clint Eastwood to play me, but the WB wouldn't go for it. He did actually try out the costume as seen here in this promotional image.

I also thought Arnold Swartzenegger might be make a good choice. I mean the guy can act! I love that whole, "I'll be back" thing he does.

Speaking of actors that almost played me, I was really flattered when Nicolas Cage named his new baby Kal-El after me. I was like, "Great Scott" you know. I still can't get over it. I really wish him and Tim Burton could have got their movie out before the plug got pulled. I mean Great Krypton he already had gotten paid and everything before the WB decided to wait longer.

He named his baby Kal-El. No way?!

Something wrong with that?

Well it's a Kryptonian name for one.
