Miami Vice Back on the Pop Charts

Here's the latest news from Janhammer.com. Apparently the music from Miami Vice is making a come back.

Jan recently teamed up with Rap/R&B artist "TQ" (Terence Quaites) to record an EP titled Crockett's Theme, which features some fresh new takes on his classic tune. Most notable is the new Radio Mix, featuring a rap and vocals by "TQ", which is the #1 most-downloaded track at iTunes in Germany and in the charts all across Europe. Also included are an R&B mix, an extended house mix, and Jan's 2004 instrumental version. At present, the EP by The Jan Hammer Project featuring TQ is only available in stores in Germany but the individual songs, or entire EP, can be downloaded from iTunes worldwide.

Jan has also created a new version of the "Miami Vice Theme" (for radio release only) which has enjoyed several weeks in the Top 10 and is currently sitting at # 7 on the Adult Contemporary charts in the U.S. For those of you who live in the States, it would be appreciated if you call your local radio station and request it so we can keep up the momentum.
