Tales of the Gold Monkey   Tvcrazy.net  80's Facts

Tales of the Gold Monkey was a very entertaining show about an ex-flying tiger pilot, and his mechanic and their airplane goose as they fight the Japanese, before World War II. In the early eighties there was a Raiders of the Lost Ark craze which most likely led to the production of this TV show.

Roddy McDowall took over the part of saloonkeeper Bon Chance Louis from Ron Moody, who played the role in the TV movie, Tales of the Gold Monkey II (1982) (TV).

Stephen Collins who played Jake Cutter now portrays Reverend Eric Camden on the WB's Seventh Heaven.
