The Green Hornet is Britt Reid played by Vann Williams.
Britt Reid owner and publisher of the Daily Sentinel  is also the great grand nephew of the Lone Ranger. Aided by Kato, played by Bruce Lee, The Green Hornet fought crime in his Black Beauty a rebuilt Chrysler Imperial with great gizmos like the Batman's Batmobile.

In Fact the Green Hornet ( Vann Williams ) actually guest starred with Kato (Bruce Lee) on the Batman tv show.
