Smallville tells the story of Clark Kent as a teenager growing up in Smallville, Kansas. Clark is still discovering all of his powers and each week he faces a new foe, usually someone who has been adversely affected by the meteor rocks that were left behind after the meteor shower that brought Clark to Smallville. Clark has to hide his abilities from the girl of his dreams, Lana Lang. In an interesting twist, Superman's nemesis Lex Luthor lives in Smallville and has become Clark's friend. But Clark is beginning to see another side of Lex - one that he doesn't like very much.
