I caught the Simpsons last night waiting for Malcolm in the Middle and to me it was more stupid than funny. The show focused on evolution vs creationism.
They had evolution thrown out of school, and it was up to little Lisa Simpson to save the day against the evil stupid people who believe we didn't evolve from monkeys. Like evolution is in danger of getting thrown out of schools. I wish.

I hate it when people take their own political beliefs and push them onto America via a TV show unless of course I agree with them. Hey I got to be honest.

Just for the record, I know it's just a cartoon show but somebody should tell the creators of the Simpsons that.

1. The little Simpsons girl kept saying evolution was an accepted fact. She's supposed to represent the logical one of the family. The problem is these hollywood guys need to get their facts straight before they go pushing their ideas out there through satire. Evolution is just a theory always has been and always will be. Nothing else.

2. The closing line that basically was meant to throw Christians a little show of respect was dumber than a box of rocks. Basically they try and say that teaching creationism in school is like teaching evolution in church. That only works if you believe in evolution. If you think it's a bunch of crap, then teaching evolution in school is like teaching kids they came from storks.
