After listening to a Focus on the Family broadcast today I learned something interesting about the Veggie Tales, a show I'm sure everyone that has kids is familiar with. Phil Vischer the creator of the Veggie Tales had basically started with nothing when he created the straight to video series, but eventually was on his way to being like Walt Disney. He was rapidly expanding the property when sales stopped increasing as planned causing him to have to lay off employees. A court battle with a business partner caused his business to go bankrupt soon after. Not letting it get him down. He now looks at the failure as God trying to get him to have a more closer personal walk with Him. Now Phil Vischer has teamed with Focus on the Family on a new site called http://jellytelly.com/. From the video below I understand the previous court case that drove him to bankruptcy and loss of his creations had been overturned a year later. So hopefully, Vischer is back on his feet financially as much as he is spiritually.
