Life Goes On is a great family drama that originally aired on ABC in 1989. It was about the Thachers, a midwestern family whose son, Corky (Chris Burke), had Down Syndrome.
The show also starred Kellie Martin (who later played on ER) as Corky's younger teenage sister.
They just don't make good family TV shows anymore, so I think this one would be a good addition to any DVD library. The DVD set goes on sale on May 9, 2006. You can order it here.
