Just got my copy of Alvin and the Chipmunks new CD Undeniable and I'm already wearing it out.
Here's a list of the tracks. Ones in bold I rate the highest.
1. We're the Chipmunks - extended version of their 80's TV theme. Nice very upbeat.
2.Shake Your Groove Thing - This one is for pop dance fans which isn't me so much. Still not a bad song.
3. Living On A Prayer Love this remake of Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer. Great song for those that grew up in the 80's.
4.Three Little Birds Should have been named, "Everythings Going to be Alright" based on the lyrics. Very catchy new song.
5. Thank You - I give it an ok.
6. All the Small Things - I think this one is going to grow on me.
7. Acceptance
8. Don't Stop Believin' An old Journey song redone from the 80's. Awesomely done!
9. Ho Ho Ho My favorite on this CD. I read one of the reviews that came from Amazon that they were complaining that David was too harsh with the boys. Sorry, but that's a dumb complaint. This is more of a return to the classic banter between the Chipmunks and David from the 60's. It's funny. This is probably one song I'll be replaying over and over again. You got to listen to some of the old Alvin and the Chipmunks stuff to really appreciate this type of humor I guess. The old stuff will have you rolling on the floor laughing.
10. Rock and Roll - Sounds ok.
11.Home
12. Undeniable
13. We're the Chipmunks original 80's theme
14. Time Warp - This is the only stinker on an otherwise excellent CD.
There's a little something for everyone on this album. There's Pop, Rock, modern and classic 80's music.
If you like the Chipmunks you are going to love this CD. I think it's even better than the movie soundtrack.
