I hope this show makes a go of it. I really like it. I'm enjoying it. I hate to say it but quality wise it's probably better than the old show. I mean it's got better effects obviously and all that. Still like the Tran-Am better than a Mustang but I can live with it.

Love the sense of humor Val Kilmer has been injecting into his role as KITT. Last night he made reference to Yoda's line, "There is no try, there is only do or do not."

I read on tvguide's website that they are planning to revamp the show for the second half of the season. After the first 13 episodes they plan to drop 3 cast members - Sydney Tamiia Poitier who plays Carrie Rivai, Yancey Arias, who plays Alex Torres, and Bruce Davison, who plays Charles Graiman, Sarah's dad.

The plan is to move away from the "terrorist of the week" formula and closer to the original '80s show. They want to make the show more about a man and his car and helping out regular people.

I like that idea. That was on of the things I liked about the original show, that Michael and KITT went around helping average people. Ok, that and the cool talking car I guess we'll see where they go with it.

That's cool, but they should keep the old guy.

Yeah, I like him too. I hope they don't kill him off...maybe he'll just be reassigned.

Whenever I see him I always think of the character he played on the X-Men movie, where he mutated into a fish at the end after being such an advocate against mutants. He had gills and everything...that was so weird.
