Cybill Shepherd has been cast in the role of Shawn's mom on Psych. She's supposed to be in at least 2 episodes in the upcoming third season, which premiers on July 18th. Her character is described as a free spirit and the source of Shawn's adventurous side.
I have mixed feelings about this. She was ok on Moonlighting, but can't think of anything I've seen her in since that I was all that crazy about, so I guess you could say I'm not a big fan. What do you think?
