Drive is a tough show about a cross country race, it's like 24 and Prison Break meets Smokey and the Bandit. In fact they even used a scene from Smokey and the Bandit involving truckers, and there is a white Tran-Am instead of a black one.
Last night they introduced the toughest car to hit the air waves since the General Lee landed in the 70's, a 1972 Dodge Challenger. That car is bad! If you like cars and grew up on fast car shows then this show is for you. It's like a grown up version of all our old classic car chase shows. It's the only place to see muscle cars in a regular TV show.
Firefly fans will be interested to see Nathan Fillion as the man behind the Dodge Challenger. He's in the race to save his wife who has been kidnapped to draw him into the race. Amy Acker from the WB's Angel plays his wife.
