Nathan Petrelli the flying guy and resident politician of the show heroes turns out to be the biological father of ... the cheerleader!
Another interesting footnote according to IMDB.com' biography of actor Adrian Pasdar who plays Nathan, he was in a terrible accident in high school that created his scar on his face and left him in a wheelchair for a time. After lots of physical therapy he went on to acting, but was unable to pursue his love for football.
You might remember Adrian from another sci-fi show caled "Mysterious Ways" which featured a sort of cross between Touched by an Angel and the X-files.

I totally didn't see that one coming! I was expecting them to bring on a new character.
I do remember Adrian from Mysterious Ways. I love that show!
Another bit of trivia about Adrian Pasdar...I read that he said he lost 25 pounds before he started his role as Nathan on Heroes because he was afraid that they would make him wear a spandex costume.
