Don't miss the Smallville season premier coming up this Thursday at 8 pm on The CW. At the end of last season, chaos had ensued in Metropolis, where Chloe was last seen being attacked by a group of deranged lunatics, and around the world as a computer virus, started on Lex's computer by Zod, brought global technology to a halt. Clark is trapped in the phantom zone, and Lois Lane and Martha Kent were stuck on a flight going who knows where piloted by Professor Milton Fine/Brainiac (James Marsters). Oh, and let's not forget about Lana, who pledged her devotion to Lex, whose body was taken over by the totally evil Zod.
According to TV Guide, all of this will be resolved quickly making way for the arrival of Green Arrow (Justin Hartley), aka billionaire Oliver Queen, who went to boarding school with Lex.
Tori Spelling will also join the cast this season as the Daily Planet’s new gossip columnist. Rumor has it that she will be able to turn herself into water.
Looks like James Marsters’ run as Brainiac may be over. Since Zod was freed from the Phantom Zone, he is no longer needed.
From the season finale - Clark stops a car from hitting Chloe at the Daily Planet after the power went out.
