I read an article in TV Guide the other night that said 24 is up for 12 Emmy nominations this year. I think the show deserves every one.
In the article Kiefer Sutherland talked a little about the upcoming season saying that Day 6 starts two months into Jack's Chinese imprisonment, "with Jack at the lowest point anybody has every seen him." Remember, at the end of last season, Jack was just about to enjoy a moment of happiness with Audrey and was taken into custody by the Chinese.
I hope at some point they give the poor guy a break. But then, if they do that, there will be no more 24. Even though I want Jack to have happiness, I guess I don't really want to see it for a while.
Sometimes I have to remind myself that 24 is just a TV show and Jack is just a character and none of what is happening to him is real. 24 is an awesome show, but sometimes it can be stressful to watch.
