The discs were perfect and came quickly. Everything was fine with the whole order and delivery.

All the best of the characteristics of the original series ... humor, drama, excitement. No need to bother with the others.

Star Trek movies are one of those franchises that have been released numerous times on DVD. First they released the movies, then they released the director's editions, and now this. There are actually some perks to this set though. What should be noted though is that all the special features from the director's editions are not in this set. This is a 3 disc set with one movie on each disc. There are some nice new extras, including new audio commentaries on each film, featurettes and some other nice easter eggs. Also, the movies have been remastered, and I think the movies actually look better in this set than in the director's editions. Anyways, it's worth the price if you already have them, but my honest opinion is that this is more for the hardcore Trekkie who must have everything.

This was awesome. I got the movie still in its plastic wrapping with absolutely no scratches on it. All the discs worked perfectly and I loved that I got it at a great price. To buy the movies seperately cost so much more and seemed pointless when I could get the whole set for a lot less. The movies were great. They had all the original cast! I recommend this for every star trek fan, old and new :D

Both Japan and the united kingdom got the 1-6 boxset on dvd and released seperately all the movies. Here in the states all we get is the trilogy or you have to buy into blu ray, lame.
I want the theatrical releases for the other movies on dvd. Thanks for nothing paramount. Mainly Treks 1 and 6. I can give or take 5 but i would like to have the whole set in a metal tin like they got overseas. What a joke. Almost a bad as them pulling the standard definition original series dvd sets so you have to buy the blu ray for the original effects or buy the upgraded effects only dvd's. A lousy policy on there part.
