Eh, what up Fatty. Today the Movie Review Kid (yours truly) is gonna tell YOU, a.k.a. a big fat guy, about this DVD. It's the Flintstones Complete Series collection. This little beauty right here contains all 166 episodes of the classic 1960s Saturday morning cartoon, the Flintstones. For the kids who are reading this, your parents might be familiar the show. That is, since they were probably your age (maybe younger) when the series was on television. It includes the cast of Fred Flintstone, husband of Wilma Flintstone, father to Pebbles, and the best buddy to next door neighbor Barney Rubble. The show had its original run from 1960 to 1966, if you were too stupid to know that(which you are), and was followed by oh so many spinoffs who no one remembers since the original show was a million times more popular than its successors. The only one probably remembered would be The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show which currently-but not oftenly- runs on Boomerang. You probably have a bunch of dumb questions like:"Who's Bamm-Bamm?" and "What's Boomerang?". I'll get to those after you lose some weight. But since that will never happen, I'll tell you right now.
Bamm-Bamm is the adopted baby boy of Barney Rubble. Bamm-Bamm is also friend to Pebbles of the Flintstones. As they grow up they become boyfriend/girlfriend, get married and even have children as seen in "I Yabba Dabba Do!" and "Hollyrock-A-Bye-Baby".
Boomerang is a TV channel (owned by Cartoon Network) that airs classics cartoon shows, ranging from 1940s to 2000s. It's kinda like Turner Classic Movies, which shows classic movies as Boomerang shows classic cartoons. Boomerang's most popular shows would be The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Yogi Bear, Scooby-Doo, Dexter's Laboratory, and the Powerpuff Girls. I know what your fat self is thinking again. "If they show the Flintstones on Boomerang, why the heck do we have to get it on DVD?" Well shut up and I'll tell ya. Not every cable service (ya have to have cable) has Boomerang. So that's why lazy people like you have to get your fat butt and take the time to do online shopping to get classic shows to watch while you're lying down on the couch eating barbeque chips. I've gotten some complains from people that the Flintstones: Complete Series has an "ugly, big ol' orange box." If you are gonna that much of a crybaby, then get all 6 seasons on seperate season box sets. But buying all those box sets will add to a total amount of money costing more then if you just bought the darn series box set. So if you value the Almighty Dollar, don't care about what color the stupid thing is and just BUY IT! I don't get paid here (Yeah that's right, I get paid) by just telling your large self what to do all day! EGAD, FAT MAN! So if something about a guy who lives in the prehistoric age fascinated kids who are in their mid 40s by now, you should have no problem adapting to its funny jokes and...something. Yeah, something. Let's go with that. I highly recommend this little doohickey. By the way, while you're on Amazon, try looking for some weight loss pills. You need 'em bad. HA! Well than, just remember: You're a fat, butt-ugly idiot and you're never getting any smarter.

I like most everything about this complete series box set except the cardboard sleeves that hold the DVDs. The picture and sound quality is excellent considering this cartoon is almost 50 years old. It doesn't appear any remastering has been done. I have seen shows that remastering actually made the picture quality worse. If you are a fan of The Flinstones you will not regret buying this entire series set.
Because of the cardboard sleeves, I give this set 4 Stars.

Hours of family fun in one container. If we feel like turning back the wheels of time, we just grab one of the DVD disc and start watching one or more Flintstones episodes.
