If you connect directly to cable/antenna to pick up channels over the air a power interruption will cause what is being referred to as "robot audio." Basically, choppy audio playback that can be fixed temporarily for a few minutes with a channel change. To truly "fix" the issue a factory reset is required to be performed. Thus, you lose all settings and ~20 minutes of your life every time there is power interruption.
This is being discussed on CNET forums. There is no known fix yet. Just a huge waste of your time having this repeatedly repaired to no avail. Consider your intentions for the TV (cable box/antenna) before purchase. It appears from reading CNET that Samsung will not acknowledge the problem.

Delivery was easy; installation easy; followup easy. Now I am awaiting cable company to give me a new box so that I can enjoy high definition. I'm looking forward to it..

This is a great tv! The picture quality is great and I'm so happy with my purchase. I'm really glad I bought this tv.

have had this tv 6 months now, still as happy as the day i first fired it up. very easy to set up and use. we use it in our bedroom. the tuner for local stations works better than expected--- crystal clear. we have verizon fios hook up; and flawless operation with this great little tv! you wont be sorry with thie one!!

We bought this tv for our bedroom, and we were very impressed with it. So many options...and the HDMI works great with our XBox 360...colors are brilliant...and for factory speakers, the sound cranks. We've found that our preferred settings are 'movie' for the picture and 'custom' for the sound. There's a sleep timer that has 6 different increments, and 4 increments for picture size...but 16:9 is my favorite. The remote is easy to navigate, and our satellite is crystal clear. If you're looking for a sound investment, I recommend the Samsung.
