I bought this TV for our kitchen, the first HD TV I've owned so nothing to compare it to. I'm pleased with the picture quality when the programming is HD, nice and sharp. However, the vertical viewing angle for optimum picture is very shallow. Even a little up or down difference changes the picture quality drastically. The side to side viewing angle is adequate. I like the various options for changing the picture size, depending on the broadcast. On the down side, the power cord falls out of the socket on the back of the TV with the slightest movement, but this can be fixed by wrapping a couple layers of duct tape around the plug for a snug fit. The TV is too quiet with Dolby broadcasts, even at full volume. The fix is to use amplified computer speakers. They have to be plugged into the headphone jack in back for the volume control on the remote to work. Unfortunately, the headphone jack is a piece of crap; the miniplug to the external speakers has to be situated in it just so. Otherwise, I don't get sound out of both speakers, or I get hum. I don't have a fix for that. Another annoyance is that when I change channels, the channel information in the upper left corner doesn't stay on long enough to read, and there's no adjustment for that. All in all I am reasonably happy with my purchase, despite the cheapness of some of the connectors and the other flaws.

This TV is a joy to watch. It has a great picture for a small TV. We are very satisfied with the TV and delivery from Amazon.

We had been looking for a TV for our kitchen. Very happy with this one. More bells and whistles than some other similar priced models and the picture is outstanding. One minor complaint -- the desciption mentioned that it swivelled. The screan tilts up and down, but does not swivel.

Packaging and shipment were great. Well satisfied with product, except sound is not satisfactory. Have made all sound adjustments I can, but still sounds like a metallic vibration in speakers. I am contemplating returning unit, or buying a set of speakers. Otherwise is a great unit for my computer room.
