A PS3 with 80 GB's will be released in september. If you can you should just wait for this

I guess I didn;t the the fine print enough, because I didn;t realize til I got his all hooked up that the 40GB PS3 is not backward compatible with any PS2 games. I am sending this back and paying the extra $50 to get the 60GB model, which is backward compatible.

READ THE FINE PRINT!! We just spent $500 on ONE GAME! Console, $400, extra controller, $50, game, $50. Now we leanred it will not play our old games. We never would have bought it if we had known!

I thought I was getting three great systems for the price of one expensive system.
1. Game Console (1 star)
With limited selection and no backwards compatibility the PS3 games come at a huge premium. They're the most expensive and most graphic games out there.
2. BluRay Player (2 star)
Sony has this market cinched. As a BluRay player it works. First, you need to purchase the necessary HD cables and you'll may want to buy the standard remote for another 20 plus dollars. Any BluRay player would normally come with one, or you can use the awkward game controller with the on-screen controls. Not so good, and expensive.
3. Internet Browser or Full Blown Operating System (1 star)
The browser capabilities are horrible. Flash will not work with CartoonNetwork, Nick or any other game sites and can't be updated. Sony just didn't make the browser fully compatible. So install a Linux OS and get ready to lose the better part of two days trying to get everything functinoal and even with GNASH you still won't get Flash working.
