I just bought this from a central Virginia Toys R Us two days ago (Nov. 28, 2007). They had about 6 of these on the shelf, so I know they're in stores. It was only 19.99, so unless you really want this and absolutely can't find it anywhere, you'll have to pay this premium price. There's also dozens of these brand new on eBay for around $45. The toy is fun for a Scooby fan, and my son has an older set of action figures that fit easily inside. It's lightweight, so it's easy for him to pick up and play with it around the house.

This item retails for $19.99 and while it is in demand (and perhaps difficult to find), there are places you can pay $19.99! It is unfortunate that Amazon promotes this price that is double its worth!

My son loves this toy (and the figures to go with it). Thankfully I bought them at Toys r Us for a fraction of the cost. I paid $20 for the mystery machine and $15 for the figures. Well worth the price I paid at Toys r Us.

FYI, This item is way over priced for $49.99 new, you can buy it in many toy stores for $19.99. Same as the 5 pack figure set, sells in other stores for $15.99. I know I bought them
