The new Otis Redding video is very cool. I bought this initially because as a big Otis fan, I typically would buy anything by him. That is why I must have 3 different copies of Otis at the Monterrey Festival. However, this video contains new video clips of Otis that were very cool and that I had never seen before. Dick Clark interviewing Otis Redding on Bandstand was a first for me. The insight that Steve Cropper gives about Otis and the process of songwriting together was also very informative.
Rare video clips, interviews with Otis's widow and Jim Stewart from Stax Records, make this video a must buy. You will dig it! So says Dave the Rave of Relics & Rarities. www.davetherave.com

This DVD gives us wonderful insight into the life of Otis Redding. What a precious talented man. I have always loved his music and now can see the man behind the music. What a joy.

This is a great retrospective. Let's you into Otis' world and lets you see the effect he had on those around him and on Stax Records. I just wish the survivors of the Barkays were in on it. I would like to hear their storie.

I truly enjoyed this DVD, at the time when Otis was hot I did not realize how much I had missed about this great artist, but it was also hot where I was in military service. I found this to be a must have DVD, if you are a fan of Otis Redding. The sound quality was unbelievable on my surround sound system. Sometime the video and sound did not match up exactly, but much of it was taped in the 60's, still an excellent DVD.
