We were disappointed in this game package. The darts game and table hockey are the only two components we liked, and air hockey only minimally.
Darts takes a moment to get used to, but then it's pretty enjoyable.
Table hockey feels a bit random, which is my complaint with the rest of the games in this package. But at least table hockey is fun for a while. At first, play is almost laughable because you feel like you don't have much control and you score on yourself a lot. Then you get the hang of it and enjoy it for about 10 minutes. After that, you start to realize again that you could probably push your Wii remote around in a haphazard manner and still end up with the same score, and that just leaves you bored.
As for the other games, they are irritatingly random, as if your moves are pointless. And the ping cup one is so frustrating, it's ridiculous.
The trivia part is the only other thing that was remotely enjoyable, but overall it was just okay. I'm glad the game was only $20. It is probably only worth $10.

If i could get this "0" stars i would. Judging the game by it's cover it seems great. But it is anything but! Games are really only for one player and there really is no "game" involved. Take whatever money you'd spend on this and put it towards a game that has more than 2 or 3 stars. We know what we are talking about!!!

Game party is not very fun, only in the begining its fun. Here a the positivies:
Positives:
Fun at first
Good multiplayer at first
Cons:
Short lasting
No miis (characters don't look nice)
Terrible single player
Does not take advantage of the wii remote at all.
Bad Graphics
Don't get this game. If you really want it rent it, because it is fun at first.

I don't play the Wii unless it is with others, and BOY this was a fun package to play with my family. We had a blast. :)

I just bought my Wii system a few weeks ago. My nephew has "Wii Carnival" but I bought "Game Party" instead because it was less than half the price. This game is "OK" but I wish I'd paid the extra money and bought Wii Carnival instead. There's a lot more to that one: the graphics are better, it has more character and more characters, and it seems more accurate. "Game Party" might be OK for young kids but as an adult I'd rather have better graphics and interactivity. It's OK for the price, but for me the trade-off wasn't worth the money I saved. I may get Wii Carnival eventually but for now Wii Fit and Wii Sports keep me happy and busy so I'm not playing many other games.
