Even an old guy like me can appreciate this series created and overseen by James D. Parriott, who you may know from his involvement in another cool show, Gray's Anatomy. I am partial to time travel, but it must be done right. What it lacks in special effects, Voyagers! makes up for in great casts and stories.
On the surface, it's a way to get kids interested in history. Still, it works for me. I'm not sure the history is always 100% accurate. Then again, whose history is? Meeno Peluce and Jon-Erik Hexum are excellent.
The entire series with no superfluous commentaries, outtakes, etc. Did I mention that I highly recommend this video? Great series.

I bought this because I knew it was one of my husbands favorite TV shows way back when. We took it on our family vacation (no cable tv) and watched it in the evenings as a family. My girls (ages 13 & 14) enjoyed it as much as we did. I wish there were more shows like this. When we got through the last disc, both my girls said "Bats Breath".

This was a great show for many reasons. It is well worth watching. I read
in a review that Hexum died by suicide. I remember it being an accident on
the set of voyagers. A lot like Brandon Lee died filming The Crow. It
was a mix up with the gun not having blanks but bullets? Someone correct
me if I am wrong. Both His life and the show ended much too soon.

OMG i so loved this show. It was around before Quantum leap. I was so upset when they kept saying the would not release it becuase he commited sudied. (sorry cant spell) then when i walked into the store and brought it I snatched it up so fast. This is the best series. I wanted it from begining to end. Just like I did with doogie houser. My husband told me to get it becuase he new i loved the show. For anyone who is thinking about buying it and have not brought it yet. GET IT. It is the best show ever.

I got my video last night, and immediately put it in the DVD player. The quality and editing is great!
