Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - What A Great Idea!
Where has electronic banking been all my life? When we first read through the directions and started our first game, I was unsure if I'd ever figure out how to use the little electronic gadget, but by my third turn I was an expert. Not only are the VISA cards incredibly convenient and easy, but the game incorporates a whole bunch of new aspects that make it much more life-like. For example, the better car you buy, the more LIFE Points you accumulate. And if you buy a nice house, it rises in value and you also accumulate LIFE Points. You can also earn promotions in your career, play the lottery, and many more features. I highly suggest this game to anyone who loved the original version.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Worth the price so far
I couldn't give it 5 stars just yet as we've only had it 24 hours. So far it has been a lot of fun for all ages. Our 9, 15 & 18 year olds have played it alongside some adults and all have enjoyed it as much. Actually our 9 year old has won the most times! Frankly it is more fun and challenging than the original game. This one makes you think and budget more. I hope the electronic piece doesn't wear out from too much use - only time will tell.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Life's Twists and Turns
The kids love this game, and I love how quick it can be. You can program it for as much time as you have. No more money counting means no learning, but that's alright sometimes!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - More realistic than the classic Game of Life
Twists and Turns lets you make more choices than in the original Game Of Life. You choose whether or not to get married/buy a house or have children. In the instructions for the game is a page of hints both in the game and in real life. This new version does not use paper money, instead it has a "LifePod" (a computer) that spins and keeps track of Money and Life points. Events, that in real life, usually lead to increased happiness (marriage, children, education, volunteer work, owning a home, etc) earn you Life points. At the end of the game, money is converted to life points at a random life point favoring ratio. The player with the most life points wins the game.

The one area I see for improvement would be to allow more players in the game. The game is for 2-4 players, instead of the 8 in the classic game.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Complicated! Don't lose the instruction card!
I loved the original "Life" as a kid, so when my kids asked for this for Christmas I was delighted. Perhaps with repeat uses we'll get the hang of how to enter the information into the electronic scorer easily, but the frustration level was so high for my 9 and 12 year olds, as well as Gramma, they're not anxious to give it another try.
