The title is a bit misleading. There is a not a lot specifically about the Lone Ranger and Tonto, just another classic "shoot'm up," told in the style and fashion of the late thirties and early forties.
Good story, right triumphs over a series of unsavory characters in the end, but the Ranger does most of his work in disguise. And, as in the old TV series, that takes the edge off some of the action, excitement of the plot and movement of the story, not that that is really important in this kind of read.
It's just a good way to, shall we say, return to those thrilling days of yesteryear...and that's always a good journey.
That, in reality, is what this book, and all the old Lone Ranger books, are about--a good, endearing trip down memory lane...
