Rating: - Not what I was expecting... but still decent
I got these with the playset that corresponds with these figures. I picked up three packages of these at once because of one specific line "randomly assorted" in the product description. While that is true for these packages, it's not like they're different from what's in the playset. I think the playset actually has ALL the figures in it, making it rather pointless to buy this unless you want a huge amount of them and you need extra. While, I think getting extra was a good idea, I did not need three boxes of these.

The figures are pretty decent quality, they're very similar to "army men" in style. It's a single figure of imovable plastic on a large plastic base. Nothing is colored in on the figures. There are two marine and two alien figures per pack. 2 out of the 3 packs I bought were the same. I think these would be great to use for the Aliens RPG, even though that's a really rare Core Rule book these days, but these would be the perfect figure supplement for that.

Basically if you just wanted to have all the figures to display on the Playset then all you need to get is the playset. There are a lot of figures in the playset, but I think maybe an additional box or two would really round it out better. If you're trying to create a serious army then you'll love getting these additional boxes along with the playset.
