Contrary to the review above, Captain Marvel is a fine buy. The arms only seem long and the face is not expressionless, it shows the grim determination that the particular hero was known for - and it beats the "Joker" smile of Hasbro's Hercules and She-Hulk.
The arms seem particularly long because this is one of the only two Marvel Legends figures that I'm aware of that has extended fingers (The 2nd one being Iron Fist). Captain Marvel is best displayed dramatically mounted looking up, reaching for the heavens in flight.
His articulation is excellent, save for the hand which could have been given more articulation.
Unlike most Marvel Legends, I gave it a particularly high educational value seeing how he's been dead for so long and kids buying him have a chance to peer into the history of one of Marvel's most celebrated heroes.

Captain Marvel, the cosmically powered, nega band wearing guy who can guess your weight and birthday.
His figure is a solid effort at the character but leaves just a little to be desired. The expression on his face is a bit bland especially above the nose. Also, and maybe it's just those nega bands, his arms look a bit too long and it's kind of odd looking. He's OK but not great. His black and stared skin with white hair variant looks a bit better though. He comes with his comic, back drop and a piece of the menacing MODOK.
MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing) is an artificially mutated super genius with a bad temper and big fat ugly head. He makes a cool build a figure too. This guy's sculpt is where he really shines. He sits on a cool flame type base which represents the rockets of his flying chair. The chair itself looks great and his arms and legs are suitably stubby. But the detail in that big fat face of his is great. Each wrinkle of his face and each tooth and even his lips are sculpted to perfection. He looks like he just jumped off of the page. He has fewer points of articulation than normal, but hey, he's mostly just a giant head. I'd give him at least 4 ½ stars on the sculpting alone.
