Just slightly bigger, and the D-pad is located a bit higher than on the SNES controller, but other than that, amazing. And of course it is necessary for Street Fighter.

Nintendo has always had a very good track record for the quality of their products. This controller works well and fits the hand well. It might be a mildly annoying to purchase it in order to play some Wii Virtual Console games, but it is worth it. C'on, relive your childhood!

i orderd two of these, so far only one came, and i held it in my hand its small as hell, its gonna be fallin out my hand and hurting my hands, its made for little kids or midgits i think.
the second one thats coming im just gonna have to send back or see if i can take it back somewhere else to get full price back.
my brother is gonna bring me some gamecube controllers soon those will be alot better for me

You pretty much have no choice but to buy this if you want to play Virtual Console games. Here's hoping the hacking community figures out the Wii and gets a native Wii MAME emulator running soon. Wouldn't it be great to have the original Tempest, Frogger, Pac-Man and other classic games running on Wii?
Nintendo, if you're listening, I'll pay 50,000 Wii points for a well-done MAME port if it will support user-provided ROMs on an SD card and savable per-game assignment of controller buttons!

If you're looking to buy older VC games(NES, SNES) this controller is very comfortable and lightweight. If you're looking to buy N64 games, I would suggest a Nintendo GameCube controller instead.
If you're going for a wireless experience the classic controller is just that, kind of. The classic controller plugs into the Wii Remote so you're wireless from the system but wired to the remote(like the nunchuk). For true wireless, check into the Wavebird wireless controller for the GameCube.
