I've been waiting for this to come out on DVD for ages, and this package provides a great price on two great series (about $10 cheaper than buying each alone.)

This set is pretty much a no-brainer. It offers both of the first season's of 'Beverly Hills 90210' and 'Melrose Place' for about $10 cheaper than it would be to purchase them seperatly.
'Beverly Hills 90210' was the first teen soap, essentially paving the way for the WB/CW to become a network. While the series is probably corny and tame by today's standard's, it used to be one of the freshest and original series out there.
'Melrose Place' started essentially as the grown-up version of '90210' which the producers created to keep the aging (twentysomethings) to keep watching there series.
