this is a great box set, it has fewer dvd's than the DVD's done before, especially since they were not even released in epidosde order, extras are nice too. Highly recommend for anyone totally into The Twilight Zone.

First off, yes this is a 5 star show. I'm marking low as a heads up that I got two brand new boxsets and the first show on the first disc had digital dropout and became unplayable! Both times right out of the brand new box. Kudos to Amazon for facilitating a replacement boxset the first time and issuing a credit after the second time. But I suspect there was a bad lot of these with flawed transfers. Luckily I spotted it on the first disc right away and not 6 months later on a later disc after it would've been past the warranty for returns. And yes, my dvd player works fine and we use it all the time with Netflix DVDs and that technical problem has yet to be replicated. Anyway, best show ever. Just preview those discs asap.

I adore the Twilight Zone & Night Gallery. I had to have this boxed set and it is just loaded with extras that are very good. It had one problem though, the disks do not feature a "play all episodes" selection. To me in any DVD set that is vital. Because once I start watching I just want to keep watching without the hassel of selecting the next episode. Also, on the Biography for Dear Rod Serling, which was handled well and very in depth until, they came to Night Gallery - this to me seemed like a very important aspect in Mr. Serlings career and was glossed over almost as something he was ashamed of. The best extra that was Night Gallery related were some promos Rod did, but it was durring the Gary Collins/Sixth Sense sindication package, which showed some wonderful paintings (probably done by Jerry Gerb instead of Tom Wright) but nothing to do with the original Night Gallery as I remember it. I hear Season 2 of Night gallery will come out soon. I hope they do it justice instead of the release Columbia House gave on VHS format or even the first release of Season 1.

I received these dvd's much sooner than expected. They are just excellent. This is a must have collection for any Twillight Zone fan!!

Great transfers and reproductions. Now, give us great cases and NOT the hard polycarbonate style cases that lead to damage of the disks during removal and replacement-- most of the small fingers holding the disks break off or MUST be broken off to remove the disk. POOR!! Make the cases of the soft polypropylene material. Please!
Be sure to buy "The Complete Definitive Collection"-- at around $150, it is a great buy compared with the individual seasons that tend to run around $35 to $70.
