All the episodes you can remember and some which were rarely seen are here in all 5 seasons of the original Twilight Zone. Also included are special features, interviews, clips from other shows with Rod Serling. The original promos, trailers and the old CBS logo make this collection not only a journey to the realm between light and shadow but back through time as well. A must have DVD set for any fan of Twilight Zone.

I was not very satisfied with dvd collection of the twilight zone. I felt the quality of sound wasnt very good. Some episodes needed more volume and also you can find minor pausing in some scenes, I have this same collection in VHS tapes, which surprisingly was far better in every aspect. I feel they could have done a much better.

I am thrilled with this set. It has been a memory jogging experience as well as an indicator of how innocent we were in the early 60's. I remember how creeped out I was a a child in department stores after seeing the mannequin episode--especially if I saw someone taking a mannequin apart. My kids are much more sophisticated or jaded depending on how I look. They figure out plot lines that stymied me as a child. Then they surprise me by letting me know how wonderful other episodes are--Art Carney as Santa for instance. That my kids have sat through every episode is telling on how well the series holds up.

I am glad I waited to buy THE TWILIGHT ZONE Definitive Editions and even more pleased that I bought "The Complete Definitive Collection." The price is incredible for the entire series and all the wonderful extras you get with it. The quality is superb. Obviously, some of Rod Serling's next week's previews are missing or there is only an audio version, but considering what you get in this collection, it is excusable that some of these segments are missing. They are probably lost forever anyway. I am only part way through the third season, but I am sure the rest of the collection will impress me just a much. If you love THE TWILIGHT ZONE, then this is the collection for you!
