What a fantabulous collection of work! Not only do you have all the episodes from the Twilight Zone's series, but also interviews and various other bonus features that allow you to know Mr. Serling better not only as a write, but also a person. How he was a forerunner with his thinking and writing about issues and attempting to enlighten people with provocative, yet entertaining shows at the time. Mr. Serling is surely a Master of his work and of the mind, as well as compassion. Also for thos of us who grew up during the 50s and 60s, there's the nostalgic recall with not only the episodes, but also the advertisers and other TV show promotions ar the time. Don't get me wrong, all the advertisements are edited out from the show itself until it's time for the narration of the next week's show. For Twilight Zone fans this is a must have, and for all others it is a "should have".

Excellent box set. A bit pricey but well worth it for the hours and hours of great entertainment. I was around when these shows originally aired and I am enjoying them once again. My teenage son obviously wasn't around in the late 50s and early 60s, but he is enjoying them equally as much as my wife and I.

156 episodes and what looks like seventy-five *hours* of watchable material. I'll be watching this for years!
I snatched this up as a Gold Box Deal here for $105.99. I think that's a bargain for such a classic of early American television programming. If you're looking for stellar writing and a bevy of young stars, this is your ticket.
I previously owned several of the single discs (usually 4 episodes per DVD) which are now made redundant but thankfully I hadn't purchased them all. (Nor the previously available set on VHS for $1500! LOL)

Agreed: if you're a "Twilight Zone" fan, you basically have no choice. You have to buy these. They have everything, including Rod Serling's previews of the upcoming episodes that aired early in the series. But here are my gripes:
1. The menus are all messed up! There's no easy way to "play all," skipping through said previews and just getting on with the next one. After each episode you have to manually go back to the main menu and select the next episode the old-fashioned way.
2. The prints have not been remastered -- that's obvious. I hope nobody is making that claim. There are visible dust and scratches on the DVD transfer.
3. No subtitles!
4. There were about 156 "Twilight Zones". Seems like everybody has his favorite, or at least one that you can't forget. But one thing you'll notice if you actually sit down and go through these systematically is that there were a lot of duds -- a lot. I hadn't realized this before. In fact, I would say there are more clunkers than there are winners: on every disk of about 8 episodes, there's usually only one that's a humdinger.

I have always been a big fan of The Twilight Zone. It is amazing how each show could tell a new story each week in less than 30 minutes. While every episode may not be a gem, the quality of the series is outstanding, and there are many classic episodes. I finally purchased the collection when it was placed on sale on Amazon. It is so great to watch episodes uncut and without commercials. If you are a big fan of the show, I would highly recommend buying this collection.
