Finding a good and complete collection of the original series was looking like a complicated task until I found this DVD set. I have already gone through several disks and am quite pleased with the purchase overall. The collection appears to be complete, the set is nicely setup, and the DVD menus are nice. If you like the old Twilight Zone, I think this is the collection to get.

Bought this (having wanted access to the entire twilight zone archives since I was very young) thinking I needed it just to fill in a few episodes I might not have seen and to be able to watch any episode at any given time. What I realized is that the marathons leave many episodes out and there are a great deal of episodes that I have not seen (maybe half or more). Also, there are so many that I know I've seen, but cannot remember the plot, so they're as good as new to me. Also two seasons are comprised of hour long episodes and these are a bit more problematic for Sci-fi to play (because of commercials). Also, if you're like me and believe the episodes everyone now are calling silly to be 'high art,' you may find yourself laughing at an episode or two never played (for good reason), e.g. the episode where a slot machine chase a man down and its voice sounds like coins coming out. All i can say is snatch this up at the current price. I paid 75 bucks for season 4 two years ago and got all five from an amazon seller (new) for 125. it's not going to get any cheaper.

TWILIGHT ZONE AT IT'S BEST. WHO NEEDS LAME STUFF LIKE "TWILIGHT" WHEN THE REAL THING LIKE "TWILIGHT ZONE" IS AROUND AND PACKAGED SO WELL AND COMPLETELY. A GREAT BUY AS IT HAS EVERY EPISODE, PLUS ORIGINAL ROD SERLING INTRODUCTIONS FOR THE UPCOMING SHOWS AND ASSORTED TIDBITS WHICH TAKE YOU RIGHT BACK TO THE SIXTIES. JUST BE READY TO HAVE QUITE A FEW OCCASIONS TO WATCH IT (28 DVDS IS A LOT OF WATCHING BUT WELL WORTH IT!!!).

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made as to DVD's (second only to HOUSE), we are enjoying these so much ! Excellent picture and sound... and the stories are awesome ! A few I remember from reruns, but, most are new to me. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
