I own this DVD. I bought this one for my daughter. She seen mine and she wanted one for herself. It is wonderful!!!!

This DVD is terrific, it's entertaining as a documentary and the music videos taken from the "Adventures Of Ozzie & Harriet" are first rate indeed. Due to time contraints of the show, some of the songs were edited but not too badly. Ricky Nelson was a pioneer as a Rockabilly cat and as a music video (promo) innovator. Ricky's Dad Ozzie, a music veteran himself, had a great idea to feature his 2nd born Ricky Rockin' into your living room, it hadn't been done before and it helped solidify Rock 'n Roll into the mainstream of America. For me the best part of this DVD is on the Special features section with Rick's old Guitar wiz James Burton playing some absolutley sizzling licks with Rick's boys Gunnar and Mathew, these guys should take that stuff on the road. I believe this music is timeless and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. This is definately a 5 star release, make the purchase you won't regret it.

High quality DVD. His Daughter and 3 Sons are so interesting when they talk about their fond memories of their Dad. They mix their comments with music videos of Rick. Loved all the special features too. Memories are made of this. Thanks Nelsons.

This DVD explores Ricky Nelson's singing career from his first hit, I'm Walking, to his last mega-hit, Garden Party. With exerpts and comments from his sons and daughter, as well as his lead guitarist, James Burton, and country music star, Kris Kristofferson, you get a feel for the legend who made Rock and Roll acceptable. There are, I think (my daughter borrowed it), 20 performances that he made on his family's hit show, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Rick's three sons, Matthew, Gunnar, and Sam sing Garden Party at the end, and there won't be a dry eye in the room.
