Pros:
Good solid phone, handsets have decent heft. Sound quality is good.
The "announced" caller ID takes a bit to get used to but is pretty handy once you do.
The menu navigation is pretty easy to understand.
Doesn't seem to interfere with my wireless network at all.
A few complaints but none are killers:
1. The LCD screen on the phone is too dim and the backlight doesn't stay on long enough.
2. When scrolling through the recent call list, the phone numbers are not displayed. The caller ID info is displayed but often it's just generic info and the phone number would really help. Hitting SELECT displays the number but that doesn't help when just searching the list.
3. My old 900 MHz had better range. I have no problems anywhere in the house and I can even go about 25 feet outside my house so the range isn't bad. Just that my old phone let my go a good 100 feet away from the house.

I basically like the phone. I use this phone for home as well as business. I needed a good speaker phone for conferences. First, I don't like the fact that when I am using the base unit and another call comes in, I cannot see who is calling unless I am using the handset. The base should have the same feature. Second, I started having a problem with the base unit speaker going in and out. The way to resolve it is to unplug the adapter from the base unit and then plug it back in. This resets the unit. You then need to reset the date and time. This was happening every now and then but now it is every other day. Panasonic is willing to take the phone back and give me a replacement since it is still under warranty. However, I will be without a phone until they receive my old unit and send me the replacement. They were unwilling to send the replacement first and have me return the unit after receiving the replacement. They expect me to buy a new phone, which would be expensive since I use the phone for business and need the speaker phone capability, while waiting for the replacemnt. Of course, what would I do with the recently purchased phone after the replacement was sent to me. I even offered to give my credit card number or whatever else they wanted in the event I didn't return the old base. Bill, the supervisor, kept saying that is their policy. I guess they don't understand what customer service is all about or making future sales. I am sure if the telephone company said to Panasonic we need to shut down all your phones for an unspecified period of time, they would be screaming NO WAY JOSE.

This is the Panasonic. And quality is good. Performance and usability is perfect. The name is enought to discribe to product.
Its good for home. the range of the signal is good for home and garden.

The voice ID doesn't pronounce everything correctly. It is better than jumping up to look who's calling. I bought several of these "talking phones" for gifts and everyone loves them.

I have used the phone system for about three weeks. I am very pleased with the quality of the phones. The audio quality is excellent, even when using two or three phone in a conference mode. The audio level and quality is unchanged for both the caller as well as the user. The digital recorder is great. It is easy to use and the the voice is clear. I highly recommend the phone system.
