Justice League - Season Two (DC Comics Classic Collection) DVD

In association with Amazon.com

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A wonderful end to a wonderful series
okay - so it wasn't really the END end, but I will always count Justice League and Unlimited as two totally different animals, and really, the season two finale was just amazing.

I could go into all the episodes that made this season great, but honestly, if you haven't seen them for yourselves, and are a comics fan, I would be doing you a great disservice by giving anything away.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Season!
If you're a DC comics fan, this updated version of Superfriends does not disappoint. Most episodes hold your interest, and I found it pretty cool how they took characters and plots from the original Superfriends series and updated them in this new version. Definitely recommend.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Even stronger than the first season
Season One of JUSTICE LEAGUE was good. Season Two was better. All the stories were at least decent, while the three-parter that ended the season, "Starcrossed," would be a great JLA story regardless of the medium in which it was told, with Hawk Girl both betraying her league partners and then later saving them. And not just did she betray her duty, she failed to tell John Stewart, with whom things had started to warm up romantically, that she was betrothed to a fellow Thanagarian. The story was a great example of how a story, normally limited by its genre, can sometimes transcend it.

One of my favorite episodes was a standalone Christmas episode, in which we see the various members of the league celebrating in their own particular way, including Flash's attempt to bring a toy to some orphans and an obviously homesick JJ, acting as his very own ghost of Christmas present, striving in his own way to understand what Christmas is all about.

The second season continued the things it did so wall in Season One: strong writing, outstanding voice over work, high production values. Though primarily directed at kids, it was never "just" a kid's show. The pace was a tad faster than I would have preferred, but it wasn't as frenetic as many kid's shows.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - DC Comic Fan
My husband is a fan so I bought the videos. It was a gift for Christmas, 2008. He watches them over and over again. Great videos. Would recommend it!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Poor on the 1 dics
The 1st DVD is bad, only play for couple of minute then stall, found out there is mark on the DVD is permenat damage, could not repair or clean up. A deep mark on the DVD make that happen.
