My Wife and I Love Medium.
We received the DVD set (1st season) very timely and all the discs were just fine.
Great transaction, 5 stars.

My wife is a HUGE fan of Medium. When Amazon ran a sale on TV show DVD sets a few weeks ago, I knew this would be a great gift for her. She has enjoyed watching the episodes so much, I will be buying the second season for her soon, even if it is not on sale. There are some nice special features on the disks - commentaries, alternate pilot episode, etc. - but she was just happy to have the episodes. If there is any complaint about the set, it is that the menus are not the easiest to navigate - it's sometimes hard to tell what episode you are selecting. The "OFF/ON" highlights for commentaries seem to be reversed - "ON" is bright when actually "OFF" is selected. Once you get used to the quirks, though, the set is still worth it.

Great drama, crime solving, and family issues wrapped up in one great package. Every actor, actress and child actor is great. Based on the true life medium/psychic Allison Dubois, this tv series grabs you and keeps you interested to the last episode. Allison must learn to keep her family together, help put ghosts to rest, work diligently with the D.A.'s office and keep her sanity 24/7 in one of the best shows on TV. Filled with great bonus material on how the tv series started, interviews with real life Allison Dubois and deleted scenes for many episodes, don't pass this series up.

If you love Ghost Whisperer your going to love Medium!! I just started watching Medium a couple of years ago and now I'm hooked! I'm purchasing all the past seasons to get caught up.

Nowhere near as good as its counterpart, Ghost Whisperer. Patricia Arquette's acting skills are seriously lacking. There were several occasions that I thought it was a joke and realized that it was really her acting. I love the premises of the show but we spend too much time watching Allison and Joe argue in the bedroom. EVERY EPISODE. Not to mention that Jake Weber has many scenes where he has to walk around in his boxers, showing EXACTLY what he is packing every time. Instead of watching something with suspense and ghost stories, I am left with, "Oh, another half-naked argument in the bedroom."
