This is a wonderful show! Its part of what enjoyable television should be about! Even considering the show is a few decades old now; it still remains fresh and funny.

It's great to watch That Girl again. Haven't seen it in so many years. I absolutely love it!

In an era of television that had only previously seen scatterbrained housewives, desperate man-chasing chorus girls or women with no real humor at all, the dawn of a new era came with Marlo Thomas as That Girl!
She was a girl who had finished school, moved out of her parents' house and headed for the big city to establish herself as a professional actress! Let us never forget that if it wasn't for this ground-breaking Marlo Thomas show, there would have been no Mary Tyler Moore at WGM, she would still be married to Rob (or some other comedian) and stuck in the world of the sit-com kitchen. Everything that modern women know about the roles of women seen on television comedies was darkness before this show came along.
That Girl - Season One is a DVD set that belongs in your collection. It's not just hilarious, it's a wonderful piece of women's herstory.
