I was SO excited when I heard that they were releasing Season 3 as a set! And it was so inexpensive too!! Not to mention the fact that it contains some of the best episodes of the entire series (I.e. Self Posessed). I was extremely pleased with it, as an X-Men fan, and a cartoon fanatic.

This season got me excited into the animated hit series. The Action is awesome and characters drawn very well. Season four will be the best of this collection ( along with seasons 1-3) becuase it shows the big and final battle between the x-men and Apocalypse. BRING OUT THE FOURTH SEASON SOON! Along with the complete season sets of season's ONE and TWO.

I totally love this show, and was sad to see it end at only four seasons, but I have seasons 1 and 3 on DVD now, so I can watch them when ever I want.

As for the special features -
Mutant Files - they're your standard issue who's who of the heroes and villains, and it's a run down of everyone. The watcher doesn't get to pick which character to look up, you get eveybody all at once.
X-posed - this is mostly about how they came up with X-23 and that it spawned it's own comic after the fact.
Trivia Challenge - you don't get to pick your answers, Mystique justs asks the questions and then tells you the answers...a let down in my opinion.
My favorite episodes from this season are -
Self Possessed - it's the one where Rouge touches Mystique and starts becoming all of the personalities that she has absorbed, physically and mentally.
Cruise Control - it's about the group on vacation saves an Island from a volcano's eruption and being praised/accepted for it instead of being feared/hated.

This is an excellent action packed movie that should keep you riveted to your seat if you love adventure. The characters are well developed and the action is marvellous. The special effects were superb.
This is good entertainment that is well worth viewing. However, some of the scenes are very violent, therefore not suitable for the very young.

13 Episodes for $13.00 is pretty friggin sweat. The DVD menus and extras aren't spectacular, and the episodes don't have scene selections, so avoid viewing on DVD players with slow rewind and fast forward functions. Overall, I'd say it's a good deal for any fan of the series.
