This show is amazing, as a puppy owner I found it extremely useful in my dealings with my animal. He seems to have three big themes; be the pack leader, put the dog is a calm-submissive position, and remember that the dog is an animal - not a person. Millan is Dr. Dolittle, only real.

This was purchased for our 18-year-old daughter, an avid animal lover. Thinking it would be of assistance in training her dogs, we gave it to her. Her evaluation is that the video is interesting and enjoyable. She says that there is more in the way of "correcting" problem behaviors in dogs than in actual "training," but she is learning some useful information and trying it with her dogs with some degree of success.

Very good...needs more footage dedicated to follow up. I would also like to see an episode devoted to the formative years where a lot of the trouble with these dogs seems to begin.
We need a show about puppy training :)

I have been a certified dog trainier since 2002 and I am always open to learning from more experienced trainers. Cesar is amazing he really is this man speaks dog and you can't go wrong with these DVD's they should be watched over and over!! This is NOT dog training this is understanding how to live with your dog by becoming a pack leader as well as speaking in terms of body language that your dog will understand. Cesar has a certin wit and charm which makes you enjoy learning about your dogs he is great and these DVD's are GREAT!!

This is required watching for all dog owners. We can all learn something from him. It gets repetative, but isn't that what humans and dogs need?
