I don't own a dog. However, I love watching the Dog Whisperer.
I think Cesar Milan has that effect on people-- he's so enlightening. He's always on top of the game and he really loves the animal, it's easy to recognize.
Anyway the show is amazing, helpful, and entertaining. Can't wait to watch season 2.

As long as you watch this video as a tool to understand what YOU are doing wrong that may impact your dog's behavior then it's good. Do not use this as puppy training. Cesar Millan keeps saying that he's a dog psy, not a dog trainer, and he's right, so go to dog training first, but watch those videos because they will teach you things that you may do wrong with your dog's training.
Why did I say "OMG THAT'S WHAT IT IS!!" because I rewarded my puppy on doing things that she shouldn't do. Watching Cesar's videos gave me the insight on my mistakes.

I have found the DVD's to be extremely helpful. I have learned so much from watching Cesar in action. Well worth the investment. I think they should be required upon the purchase of a puppy!

These CD's were very helpful although I don't think there needed to be so many. After a while it became a chore to watch them but I didn't want to miss anything. It would have been nice if for some of the scenarios we were shown more than just the beginning and final outcomes. In the CD's it looks like Cesar corrects the dogs' problems in about 10 minutes and that is not the case. Repetitive but it worked for my puppy. Bottom line is: Exercise the dog, Discipline the dog, and then show the dog Affection -- in that order.

I was a fan of Cesar's until I bought this DVD set for a friend for Christmas. I was wondering why she didn't say much about it when I asked. She didn't say anything becuase IT IS TERRIBLE. Nothing but out-takes by amateur videographer.
PLEASE don't waste your money on this. And someone out there knows Cesar tell him this production is giving him a bad reputation.
