I bought this car for my son, it it his second as the first one was stepped on by someone and broken. Car runs well and provides lots of enjoyment to my 11 year old.

This seems to be a fun toy--grandson likes it. However, when ordering, I didn't realize the "sound box" is a separate thing from the car. Would be more enjoyable if you could push a button on the remote control to have the sound instead of carrying it around in your pocket.

It may be worth pointing out, for the true fans, that this car has no push bar, incorrect wheels (at least they're close), lacks much of the chrome trim by the rear window, and MOST ANNOYINGLY (to me), the "General Lee" decals are too large and are as long as the flag, just like all the models for sale. You would think someone would at least be able to make a decal the right size. If you don't mind all those things, then this is a pretty nice package for a decent price.

Trying to be true to the Dukes, I have put this car through some punishment. Between jumping it and running into walls while doing donuts I have many scrapes on it and a chip missing from the front bumper but the things still runs great. It's pretty fast on smooth surfaces. Steering and speed control are a little touchy and take a little getting used to. There is no "slow" with this car. The only annoying thing with it is the "dixie" horn sound that comes with it. It wouldn't be an issue except that it plays "dixie" three times in a row. All in all a great car.
