Okay to start things off I am a harvest moon fanatic!I have alot of harvest moon games...the last one I bought was HM:AWL(harvest moon: another wonderful life)This isn't to compare with the other ones...the graphics are different and more cute! I luv the realistic graphics on the other ones but i like this one too. If you luv HM games get this one to add to your collection!

I am a Harvest Moon fanatic! Every game in the series has always been more advanced than the one before it, challenging(well.....most have been challenging), and just plain a blast! I know you must think I'm crazy, I understand completely! You must be saying "A FARMING GAME!!!!!THAT IS SO STUPID!!!!!!!!!" Well, guess what? You're COMPLETELY WRONG!!!! Even I thought Harvest Moon was stupid before I started playing! Now before I start telling you about the game, I'd like to say something EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T let this be the first game in the series you play!!!!!! You will be horribly confused if you're just a beginner! DO start with Harvest Moon 64!!!!!! It is the BEST game that I've played in the series!!!! I will soon be getting Harvest Moon 3!!!!!!!! Anyways, there are lots of things to do on the game! You can either be a guy or a girl and you can live by the ocean, by the river or the middle of town. You start out with a dog. Of course, you get to name any animals, your character, the ranch, and all that other stuff. You can have multiple cows, sheep, chickens, and, my favorite, horses, as long as you have a chicken coop/barn. There are also lots of crops! And of course you try to collect lots of notes to help free the Harvest Goddess. You have lots of marriage choices! If you're a girl you can marry Ray, Alex, Kurt, Dan, Blue, Joe, Carl, Louis, Bob, Basil, and your rival, Jamie! You can marry Jamie no matter what gender you are, because Jamie's gender changes depending on yours! If you're a guy you can marry Gwen, Eve, Ann, Katie, Lyla, Ellen, Nina, Maria, Gina, Dia, and Jamie! Then later you have a kid! There is a lot more to this game and its series then you will ever know of unless you play! So get into the world of Harvest Moon! You won't regret it!

I really like this game! Here are pros and cons:
Pros(there were so many I had to put it on a list):
1.You have 11 people to marry.
2.You can play as boy or girl.
3.Very chibi and cute graphics.
4.Its pretty easier marrying a person since in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life you had to look into girls diaries which were pretty hard to reach.
5.The town is twice as big than other Harvest Moon games.
6. More exploration.
7.Easier to get money.
8.More crops then usual.
9.Fun.
Pros:
1.The town is a little too big(my sister said that you might get lost easiely)
2.Lack of cutscenes.
3. Controlls are pretty tricky.
4. Getting the Blue Feather is hard.
5. Jamie is really mean. If you marry him/her, the game will be over.
Overall, this is a really good game. BUY IT TODAY!!! You won't be dissapointed. =D

This game is the best iv'e ever heard of, Im already married and have a baby! I luv the lake cave, it gets me rich. When it came out im like "OH MY GOD,ITS FINNALY OUT!" i was so exited. DUDES GO OUT AND BUY IT!!!

This game is the next big Harvest Moon game. Its new features and its pros are:
You can now play as a boy or a girl in one game disc. It has been annoying for Harvest Moon fans to have to buy one boy's version and one girl's version.
Appropriate for all ages. It is a wonderful game for families to share.
Teaches life skills. It teaches responsibility through spending you money wisely and other things.
An enhancement of marriage choices. Now a whopping 10 with one extra secret choice.
It has a nice storyline.
It stays fairly true to the series.
You do not have to be a long time Harvest Moon fan to understand this game.
You can do multiple things in one day. To name a few I'll mention fish, plant crops, go mining, and socialize with other villagers.
You now have a rival to compete against for your farming accomplishments and other categories.
The pause screen keeps track of all your fellow villagers affections for you.
Festivals where you can just have fun.
Multiple pieces of land that you can buy. You can have multiple barns and chicken coops.
Now for the very few cons:
Some might think the graphics to be cutesy.
It gets tiring to hear the villagers say the same thing over and over, only to change when you raise their heart level for you or at festivals.
There might be a few more but at the moment I can't think of any.
In closing, this game is fun for all ages. But if you only like fighting games, this game is not for you.
